The presbytery of the church of Sant’Antonio in Sestri Levante.
Although very modern (the current building dates back to the second half of the last century), the church of Sant’Antonio is certainly the most central in Sestri Levante.
Inside, of a very modern design, the Burning Bush stands out (behind the altar), a work by the sculptor Leonardo Lustig, famous in the city of the Two Seas also for the statue of the fisherman in the Bay of Silence.
Above the bush is an imposing polychrome Crucifix (of which I do not know the author).

The present structure dates back to the 1960s, designed by the architect Ceschi, but on the site of today's temple several religious buildings had already been built in the past. There was an ancient oratory of Saints John the Evangelist and Anthony here and the Conventual Friars Minor…
