The Mayan ruins at the site of Cobà in Mexico.
Back from vacation in Mexico I couldn't help but start posting photos.
So much history beyond the sea.
These are the ruins of Coba, a place yet to be discovered and revealed (we preferred this site to the more famous Chichen Itza because we were told that now there, to preserve the ruins, they don't allow tourists to wander around too much and especially to climb to the top of the pyramids).

Here is where the historic site is:
Cobá is an archaeological site built by the Maya civilization located in the state of Quintana Roo in Mexico. It is located approximately 90 km east of the Mayan site of Chichén Itzá and 44 km northwest of the site of Tulum. Cobá is located around two lagoons. There are several sacbés that run east on the Caribbean coast and the longest covers over 100 km distance going west to the site of Yaxuná. The site has several large pyramids, the largest of which is in the Nohoch Mul pyramid group, which is 42 meters high.
