Medusa spiaggiata.
Estate, tempo di sole, mare e… medusa!
Di solito sono in mare e ci si accorge della loro presenza solamente quando si è colti dal doloroso veleno.
Spesso si vedono in spiaggia, più per il fatto che qualcuno le ha tolte dall’acqua piuttosto che per una loro decisione.
Questa, in particolare, una delle più grandi che abbia mai visto, era ieri sulla spiaggia di Portobello a Sestri Levante… almeno per questa pericolo scampato!
La medusa è un animale planctonico, in prevalenza marino, appartenente al phylum degli Cnidari. Generalmente rappresenta uno stadio del ciclo vitale che si conclude dopo la riproduzione sessuata con la formazione di un polipo.
