La piazza più famosa della città di Trieste è senza alcun dubbio piazza Unità d’Italia. I suoi palazzi dall’inconfondibile sapore asburgico.
Attualmente, credo, sia la piazza europea più grande ad affacciarsi sul mare!
Piazza Unità d’Italia (durante il periodo austriaco era chiamata Piazza Grande in seguito fu nota anche come piazza Francesco Giuseppe) è la piazza principale di Trieste. Si trova ai piedi del colle di San Giusto, tra il Borgo Teresiano e Borgo Giuseppino.
