Il palazzo del Partito di Sofia

Sofia is the capital and largest city of Bulgaria. It is the main administrative, industrial, cultural and transport centre of the country, of which it is a separate district. It was then ruled by the Romans, Byzantines, Bulgarians and Ottomans, which strongly influenced its architectural character, before establishing itself as the capital of the newly formed Principality of Bulgaria in 1878. It remained the capital of the Kingdom of Bulgaria, the People's Republic of Bulgaria and the current Republic of Bulgaria.
