Seven brides for one suitor. From the walls of the Geirangerfjord, one of the most spectacular fjords in Norway, many waterfalls descend that bring water from the glaciers. The most spectacular is certainly the Seven Sisters Waterfall, divided, just as the name suggests, into seven water slides on the rock.

Uno dei posti più caratteristici da visitare, vicino a Bangkok, è il mercato galleggiante. A dire la verità in Thailandia ce ne sono diversi (e a dire la verità non sono nemmeno sicuro che quello che ho visitato sia quello che ho messo nel titolo). In verità è giusto un posto da vedere un’oretta (il tempo che impiega il barcaiolo a fare il giro) perché i “negozi” sono tutti uguali e vendono un po’ tutti le stesse cose ma è da vedere una volta!

Uno dei luoghi più a Nord del mondo è Longyearbyen, uno dei centri abitati dell’arcipelago delle Svalbard. Posto freddo, anzi freddissimo, anche ai primi di luglio.
Montagne e neve la fanno da padrone.
