Solo un ricordo per quanti hanno combattuto per darci la libertà di cui ora godiamo (anche la libertà di non riconoscere l’importanza di quanto fatto).

Nella foto il monumento ai caduti presso il circolo Virgola, a Santa Margherita di Fossa Lupara.

È un giorno fondamentale per la storia d’Italia e assume un particolare significato politico e militare, in quanto simbolo della vittoriosa lotta di resistenza militare e politica attuata dalle forze armate alleate, dall’Esercito Cobelligerante Italiano ed anche dalle forze partigiane durante la seconda guerra mondiale a partire dall’8 settembre 1943 contro il governo fascista della Repubblica Sociale Italiana e l’occupazione nazista.
