The palta is a type of avocado, a tropical fruit that occasionally grows in our area.
Every now and then we find a tree or someone gives us some.

Dove posso procurarmi quel tipo di palta? Se non sbaglio e’ una qualità che si trova in Cile, palta de la Cruz… Ma qui non riesco a trovarle, e dire che da bambina mia nonna ne aveva a quintali… Piccole perine nere liscie e buonissime.
Non saprei dirlo. Io so solo che ogni tanto, passeggiando con i miei genitori, mio padre trovava qualche pianta con questi frutti e ne raccoglieva qualcuno. Non ne ho mai viste da un fruttivendolo.
