Il Nettuno visto dal mare.
Come ho già scritto in precedenza probabilmente l’Hotel Nettuno è uno dei simboli alberghieri di Sestri Levante. Per molti anni della mia infanzia è stato abbandonato e lasciato in decadenza.
Poi però è stato ristrutturato ed ora è un gioiellino con suites, ristorante e lounge bar sul tetto.
Questa foto è stata scattata dal porto con il mio bel teleobiettivo.

Secondo la mitologia abitava in fondo al mare e comandava i mostri marini e le tempeste. Viene spesso rappresentato ritto su di un carro trainato da cavalli marini, e con un tridente nella mano destra come simbolo di comando.
