Hoi An, the small town of lanterns in Vietnam

Hoi An, the small town of lanterns in Vietnam.
The splendid town south of Da Nang. Famous for its lanterns and lights on the river in the evening. A UNESCO World Heritage Site.
A walk in the chaotic streets that this time are made difficult to walk only by the many tourists (mostly Korean and Chinese) and not by scooters!
The small houses covered with flowering climbing plants offer heavenly views.
Then in the evening, with the setting of the sun, all the lanterns light up and the town takes on an even greater charm.

Here's where the town is located:

The former Champa port city, located on the Thu Bon estuary, was an important Vietnamese trading center during the 16th and 17th centuries, when Japanese and Chinese from various provinces, Dutch and Indians settled there. During this period of trade with China, the city was called Hai Pho (City on the Sea) in Vietnamese.
