Bees and honey in Vietnam

Bees and honey in Vietnam.
A wonderful insect that gives us one of nature's most exceptional and sweet products: honey.
We were on an excursion in the Mekong River Delta and in one of the first stops we visited a producer of honey and derivatives.
They had us take a picture holding the honeycomb (incredibly, I did it too) and then they made us taste some honey and peanut biscuits accompanied by tea sweetened, obviously, with honey.

Apis mellifera, widespread in all continents except the Arctic and Antarctic areas, is the only one known in Europe. Apis dorsata resides in particular in India and South-East Asia, it is not a domestic species, it has the peculiarity of building the open honeycomb and is of considerable size, so much so as to deserve the name of giant bee of India. In the same areas Apis cerana proliferates, but of smaller dimensions, which has its habitat in the Middle and Far East, in particular in Afghanistan, Pakistan, India, Siberia, China and Japan.
