Ninfea, un fiore splendido.
Un fiore molto bello che spesso viene utilizzato per abbellire le fontane ed i laghetti.
Questo l’avevo fotografato nella vasca di un giardino di una pagoda in Vietnam alla foce del Mekong.
Mi piace la tinta del violetto di questo fiore.

L’infiorescenza è formata da grandi fiori natanti generalmente solitari. La lunghezza del peduncolo, a sezione rotonda, è in funzione della profondità dell’acqua. Normalmente i fiori durano a lungo e si aprono durante il giorno solo a cielo sereno.
