Anice stellato a Guadeloupe.
Una delle spezie il cui frutto legnoso, oltre ad avere un profumo inebriante, hanno una forma molto fotogenica.
Rimpiangevo ancora la volta che ero stato in India e ne avevo fotografato un sacco ma la foto era risultata sfocata.
Questa foto mi piace proprio tanto invece, nonostante la venditrice non mi sembrava contenta di vedermi fotografare senza comprare nulla.

La spezia è diffusissima e le ricette che la contemplano sono virtualmente infinite. Possiamo però dire a grandi linee che l’anice viene usato per dare gusto a carni di pollo, maiale e coniglio, così come lo usavano già i Greci e i Romani. Viene inoltre usato in accompagnamento di verdure e formaggi, specie nei paesi del Nord Europa.
