Gamberi fritti ai Caraibi.
Per un europeo che va in vacanza ai Caraibi la scelta del cibo puo’ risultare veramente poco varia.
Le materie prime scarseggiano e alla fine quasi ovunque si trovano hamburger, gamberi (di solito in pastella al cocco), pesce e pollo fritto.
La differenza la fanno le spezie, qui un caposaldo della cucina, che si trovano in maniera abbondante ovunque (ovviamente anche in molti piatti).
Questo era un piatto con un paio di gamberi fritti, un po’ di riso e due patatine fritte; par farvi un’idea 22 Usd… nemmeno a buon mercato direi.
