Un altra bella foto di un bel pezzo di carne alla griglia gustata, ormai qualche tempo fa, a Montevideo.
Al famoso Mercado del Puerto, una struttura poco distante da dove attraccano le navi da crociera.
Saranno stati cinquecento grammi di carne… mi ritorna l’acquolina in bocca solo a rivedere la foto.

La griglia venne utilizzata per la prima volta dagli Achei nella Grecia Antica, attorno al IX secolo a.C. ma alcuni reperti furono ritrovati nel regno d’Egitto. Dagli Achei in poi la griglia ha trovato una rapida espansione e sviluppo trasformandosi per rendere più veloce ed efficace la cottura delle pietanze. Ne è documentata la prima apparizione in Italia attorno al X secolo presso Arminum (l’odierna Rimini).
