Passeggiando a Levante della frazione sestrese di Riva troviamo il sagrato e la chiesa di S. Pietro.
Il sagrato della chiesa, come potete vedere, e’ nel classico ciottolato ligure; un tipo di decorazione, chiamata risseu, creata unendo dei sassolini tondeggianti presi dalle spiagge oppure dai torrenti locali, bianchi e neri, in modo da formare geometrie e disegni.

Il risseu o rissêu (termine genovese per ciottolo, forse dal francese ruisseau che significa ruscello) è un tipico mosaico acciottolato dei sagrati delle chiese e dei giardini delle ville e dei palazzi della Liguria.

Sacrato stupendo come quello di s. Sabina a trigoso con i vicoletti e il presepe dei delfini con vi stupenda sulla campagna con la stupenda bungavilla
