To tell the truth, the coat of arms depicted in the center of the gallery is not the coat of arms of Milan but that of the Savoy family.
Then, on the side, in a high mosaic, there is also the coat of arms of the city and the more famous mosaic of the bull (the one whose balls are crushed to bring good luck).
