Un monumento che accoglie i turisti nel poto di Montevideo.
Nella mia seconda visita da quando navigo nella capitale dell’Uruguay ho trovato questo monumento, ne porto, che accoglie i turisti che scendono dalle navi da crociera.
Ho faticato a fare una foto perché è sempre assalita dai turisti che come me vogliono farsi una foto!

Monte vide eu: Montevideo deriverebbe dall’espressione portoghese Monte vide eu (Io vedo un monte); tale frase sarebbe stata pronunciata alla vista del Cerro de Montevideo da uno dei marinai partecipanti alla spedizione di Ferdinando Magellano.
