Scorcio del mare dall’Abbazia di San Fruttuoso.
Andando a San Fruttuoso ci si deve ricavare anche il tempo per fare un bagno rinfrescante nelle sue acque rinfrescanti.
Infatti, di fronte alla costruzione c’è anche una sottile e breve striscia di sabbia e sassi che danno accesso al mare. Si può scegliere se affittare un lettino oppure se distendersi sulla spiaggia.
Sulla sinistra della foto, potete poi vedere il cagnone (che ho già trovato altre volte qui e che deve essere di proprietà di qualcuno dei proprietari di una delle piccole attività in loco) che sta sotto al portico a prendere un po’ d’ombra.

The abbey is dedicated to Saint Fructuosus of Tarragona, a 3rd century Catalan bishop and saint, whose ashes are preserved in the abbey, where they were supposedly transferred following the Arab invasion of the Iberian Peninsula.
The abbey cannot be reached by any road, but can only be accessed by sea or by following two panoramic paths: one that descends from the Portofino mountain above and the other that runs along the coast starting from the Portofino bay. The abbey overlooks the bathing beach in front.
