La Colonia Fara, restaurata, a Chiavari.
Da qualche mese la Colonia Fara, fa bella mostra di se nella nuova passeggiata a mare di Preli.
Erano molti anni che la zona era degradata e la ristrutturazione ha dato nuovo slancio a questa parte della bella Chiavari forse poco conosciuta dai turisti (che di solito si gettano tra i carruggi del centro).

The structure, dedicated to the memory of General Gustavo Fara, was commissioned by the National Fascist Party in 1935 as a seaside holiday resort for children, to be used mainly in the summer. The building, an example of Italian rationalism, was designed by Camillo Nardi Greco and Lorenzo Castello and was built between 1935 and 1936.

La trovavo orribile prima, la trovo insignificante adesso…
E’ lo stile del razionalismo italico, futuristica. Consideri che è degli anni 30 sicuramente un esempio (ora) ottimamente restaurato. Poi chiaramente son gusti
Bellissima Chiavari tutto bello
Però manca qualcosa un campeggio sul mare c’è tanto turismo per la sua bellezza chiavarese speriamo che qualcuno ci pensi

C’era, proprio in via Preli
Se penso questa colonia a quanti bambini all’epoca ha permesso di vedere il mare per la prima volta nella loro vita… e che altrimenti non se lo sarebbero mai potuto permettere
Mia madre vide il mare per la prima volta a 14 anni grazie ad una di queste colonie
Se penso che è stata lasciata in abbandono per decenni da menti grette ed ottuse… se penso a tutti i problemi che hanno volutamente creato a chi cercava di recuperarla…
Ho solo il vomito.
Per fortuna adesso è tornata allo splendore che merita!
