Bo square in Sestri Levante.
It is not the central square of my Sestri but it is still one of the most famous squares.
At its center there is the recent statue of the Sail by Giò Pomodoro, a famous Italian artist, and it is one of the favorite squares for markets and small street activities.

Carlo Bo (Sestri Levante, 25 January 1911 – Genoa, 21 July 2001) was an Italian literary critic, translator, academic and politician. Considered the greatest Hispanist and French scholar of the twentieth century in Italy, Carlo Bo founded the School for Interpreters and Translators in 1951 and the IULM in 1968, which today have their headquarters in Milan, and the University of Urbino “Carlo Bo” is named after him.
