A path between olive trees and slate above Cavi di Lavagna

A path between olive trees and slate on the heights of Cavi di Lavagna.
Some time ago I walked for the first time the path that goes from Cavi di Lavagna to the church of Santa Giulia.
I must say that, apart from the fact that it is a continuous staircase, in the section closest to the church it is very beautiful.
You walk between olive trees and paths paved with slate.
Once you reach the church there are several options for continuing: you can go down to Lavagna (and this is a nice downhill stretch and very beautiful to end the walk) or go up again and there are at least two options.
You can go up taking the path towards Monte Capenardo or San Giacomo which is very tough or (passing after a short stretch of road suitable for vehicles) passing through Sorlana you can go up towards Selva.

I hope I've given you a couple of interesting ideas for your walks!

I took a lot of photos in the town of Lavagna and you can find almost all of them in this page or by searching in the various articles specific to the Ligurian city.
I refer you to the Lavagna tourist promotion website: lavagnaturismo.it. This is the official website of the town's municipality: comune.lavagna.ge.it.
If you are looking for a nice portal that talks about all of Liguria I invite you to visit the official website of the Region: lamialiguria.it.
If you are looking for some books about the beautiful town of Lavagna I recommend: Intra Siestri e Chiaveri: Adriano V dei Fieschi tra storia e finzione and I Fieschi. Storia di una famiglia. If instead you want to have a guide that talks about Liguria and Tigullio I invite you to see: Genova e il Tigullio by Lonely Planet.
