Portofino seen from above.
A few months ago I walked the beautiful (and rather long) path that starts from Santa Margherita Ligure and, passing by Monte di Portofino, reaches San Fruttuoso di Camogli and then returns to the splendid Portofino.
When you are about to arrive in the village there are a couple of truly spectacular points to photograph the beautiful seaside village famous throughout the world.

In 1175 the small seaside village was placed under the administrative control, together with the adjacent Santa Margherita Ligure, of the free municipality of Rapallo, which purchased the rights to the village for 70 Genoese lire on behalf of the Rapallo consuls.
