La bella cittadina di Rapallo ha nel suo centro, come praticamente tutti i borghi liguri, il suo bel caruggio (o carrugio o carruggio) dritto dove si trovano i negozi più belli e la gente fa le “vasche” sù e giù nei pomeriggi non estivi.
Tutti lo chiamano caruggio ma il toponimo corretto è via Giuseppe Mazzini.

Caruggio or Carruggio, (a word that in the “official spelling” of Genoese should be written (Caroggio and pronounced Caruggiu, because in Ligurian the O is pronounced U), is the term used to indicate a street or alley, even a portico, typical of Ligurian historic centers. The term derives from the Latin quadrivium, or from the more popular quadruvium.
