The Sant’Andrea Civil Hospital of La Spezia.
The hospital of La Spezia is now housed in this sumptuous palace although (as you can read below) its location has been very troubled and dates back to 1480.

In 1480 the Confraternity of the Santissima Annunziata, which had its headquarters in an oratory located immediately east of the church of Santa Maria, took the initiative to create the first city hospital. The structure was located in the oratory of Sant’Andrea, located right near the Biassa gate, upstream.
