The entrance of Villa Tigullio in Rapallo from via Avenaggi
The entrance to Villa Tigullio in Rapallo from via Avenaggi.
A few months ago I decided to walk along the eastern promenade of Rapallo Castle. I had never been in that area of the city and I must say that I was surprised by the beauty of the landscape that can be enjoyed.
In addition to being quite long, I would say at least a kilometer, it passes along the beautiful Villa Tigullio of which in this photo you can see a secondary entrance (I would say).
It is one of the Places of the Heart of the FAI.
Update: Giuseppe writes to me on Facebook: “No, what you photographed is the pedestrian entrance of Villa Porticciolo, a private villa that you see in the photo, that too is a former Casale property like the entire municipal part of the park. The secondary pedestrian entrance to Villa Tigullio is shortly after the roundabout”.

Here is the spot where I took these photos:
Villa Tigullio, sita all’interno del parco comunale “Luigi Casale”, a levante della città, è sede della biblioteca civica internazionale e del museo del merletto e del pizzo al tombolo.
