Una bella villa sull’Aurelia tra Sestri Levante e Riva Trigoso.
Tutte le volte che passo in via Aurelia, spesso quando faggio due passi con il cane, vedo sempre questa bella villa e mi chiedo sempre se sia una costruzione storica e chi l’abbia costruita.
Poco prima c’e’ una specie di casale che io mi immagino (forse erroneamente) che fosse la dependance di questa villa.

Era una villa ora divisa in appartamenti.
Villa Paggi.
Ci abitavano i miei nonni negli anni sessanta, e dipendevano dalla famiglia. Vattuone che penso era proprietaria, la cassetta adiacente era abitata dalla servitù con annesso il garage.
Villa dei pavoni, dei Vattuone, la casetta a fianco era per i manenti, era molto bella e curata
Villino Vattuone costruito da Gio Vittorio Vattuone detto Juan impresario edile fratello dell’ ingegnere Vittore Vattuone, del Rag. Emanuele e di Mons. Salvatore Vattuone. Juan Vattuone costruì il villino per la propria famiglia costituita dalla moglie Ernesta Podestà e dai due figli l’ingegnere Ettore ed il fratello Innocenzo. Deceduti entrambi senza figli. La proprietà è poi passata a cugini Podestà che hanno venduto e ristrutturato.

Nella depandance c’era un appartamento al primo piano ed il garage a piano terra che ha ospitato per anni i veicoli dell’ingegner Ettore grande appassionato di meccanica e di motori fra cui un fuori strada giallo di strana fattura ed ogni genere di strumenti ed apparecchiature raccolte nel corso della sua vita.
