L’abside della chiesa dei Santi Giovanni e Reparata a Lucca.
Sono stato solo alcune volte a visitare la città’ toscana di Lucca ma dopo la prima mi sono convinto a tornare perché e’ una bella cittadina con tanti luoghi interessanti da visitare.
Appena ne ho avuto occasione ci sono stato per un weekend e me la sono goduta.
Questo e’ l’abside della bella ed antica chiesa che sta proprio nella stessa piazza del Duomo di Lucca e che vi consiglio assolutamente di visitare.

The Santa Reparata complex was built in the 5th century on an area of ​​Roman settlement. Around the 6th century the complex took on a cemetery function but in the 8th century the church was functioning again. In the 9th century a crypt was opened where the relics of San Pantaleone, found in 1714, were placed.
