In centro a Chiavari, appena dopo la piazza dei Coi (piazza Mazzini) c’è questa piccola via nella quale c’è la prima sede del Banco di Chiavari.
Credevo che la “S” stesse per San ma ovviamente non sono riuscito a trovare molto (anzi non ho trovato proprio nulla) su San Dallorso; come mi hanno scritto nei commenti è il Senatore Nicola Giuseppe Dallorso, il fondatore della banca chiavarese, a cui è dedicata la via.

Sapete dirmi qualcosa sulla Antica Cereria Bancalari?
La cereria era di proprietà della famiglia Bancalari, una delle famiglie più abbienti di Chiavari, ma anche generose. Hanno fondato un collegio e una scuola per la formazione artigianale, che esiste tutt’ora, per i figli delle famiglie povere e per gli orfani. Si chiama “Istituto Bancalari Artigianelli”, da ragazzino ricordo una donna che dirigeva la cereria, si chiamava “la scià Rusitta”.
Posso confermare quello che già ti ha detto il Sig Guasco, quello che so è che era attiva fino al 2017, poi mi sono trasferito in Calabria e non sono aggiornato….P.S. dal 1980 al 2017 ero nella Polizia Municipale, e sapevo quindi molti ceti, oltre che conoscere Chiavari come le.mie tasche

Non esiste una via San Dallorso ma solo un Senatore Nicola Dallorso fondatore del Banco di Chiavari e della Riviera Ligure.
Era un vero signore
in fondo c’è un negozio di armi..
Gian Franco Gorrini e sopra di esso una delle più antiche cererie d’italia .
