The former Convent of the Annunziata in the Bay of Silence in Sestri.
Used as the headquarters of some technology companies or as a conference center, the former Annunziata was a Dominican convent that, among other things, always hosted young people with health problems who benefited from the sea air.
As often happens when I take my telephoto lens with me, it is one of my favorite subjects of the Bay of Silence.

The original convent was built in 1469 by the Dominican fathers, who had already established their base in the Genoese complex of Santa Maria di Castello since 1442. The structure is located on the extreme tip of the Sestri Levante peninsula, overlooking the sea on three sides: two towards the Baia del Silenzio and one towards the open sea of ​​the Gulf of Tigullio.
