The beautiful and private Piazza Fenice in the historic center of Chiavari.
One of the most beautiful squares in the historic center of Chiavari, not so frequented by passers-by accustomed to strolling along the alley, with its beautiful buildings (including the famous Palazzo dai Portici Neri, behind in these photos).
I like to come and see it every now and then and I think it is one of the first posts on my site dedicated to this place.

…continuing along one of the alleys towards the east (and towards Lavagna) we find the large Piazza Fenice, which overlooks the splendid Palazzo dei Portici Neri, a thirteenth-century noble residence, later much renovated, which owes its name to the mighty slate portico.
