Federico Delpino (Chiavari, December 27, 1833 – Naples, May 14, 1905) was an Italian botanist, considered one of the fathers of plant biology. For his adoption of Darwin's evolutionary theories, he was considered the greatest Italian "Darwinist" and evolutionist.
