La basilica dedicata a San Petronio, patrono di Bologna, di cui fu vescovo nella prima metà del V secolo, eleva la sua fronte sulla Piazza Maggiore, il centro politico e storico della città. La costruzione di questa basilica ebbe inizio nel 1390 su progetto di Antonio di Vincenzo, che morì quando l’opera era stata da poco iniziata. The characteristic Vico dell’Oro in the historic center of Rapallo in Liguria. Walking in the historic center of Rapallo, just behind the caruggio, you can find several very nice views. Like this one, in Vico dell’Oro, with the classic little arches (archi di sbatacchio) between the buildings. Every time I walk around my towns armed with a camera I find something new to photograph!

Today I decided to tell you how to prepare grilled oysters, as you find them in the restaurant in Vietnam. Sweet oysters, with a rich and fatty taste mixed with pitted peanuts, a little spicy from the chili pepper and fragrant green onion. This dish is excellent eaten hot, sipping a cold beer!

Ingredients
– 2 kg of oysters; – 100 grams of pork fat; – 1 bunch of shallots: washed and chopped; – 1 onion: finely chopped; – 2 chili peppers: deseeded and chopped; – spices: oyster sauce, fish sauce, sugar, chili sauce, monosodium glutamate, pepper, chili pepper; – cashew oil and seed oil; – some roasted and chopped peanuts.
Preparation
First, let’s prepare the oysters: use a brush to scrub the shells and wash them several times until they are clean. Use a sharp knife to split the shell in half. Choose the deepest part to contain the ingredients and remove the oyster intestines.
Prepare the pork: cut the fat into cubes and fry until lightly golden (be careful not to crisp it), remove and drain the oil.
For the oyster seasoning, put 5 tablespoons of oil in a pan and heat it, add the onion and sauté until fragrant and remove from the oil. Add to the pan 3 tablespoons of fish sauce, 1 tablespoon of water, 1/2 tablespoon of oyster sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of MSG, 1 tablespoon of chili sauce. Mix well with pepper and then cook on low heat for 3-6 minutes until you see that the sauce is a little thick, then turn off the heat (do not overcook it as it will be too salty after grilling the oysters). When the sauce mixture cools slightly, add the chopped shallot, chopped chili and pork cubes and mix well to obtain the onion sauce mixture. Scoop the sauce and pour it evenly over each oyster.
Now place the oysters on the grill, with the shell on the charcoal side, for a few minutes and the dish is ready! They also turn out very well in the oven or in an air fryer: set the temperature around 200-220 degrees for 6-7 minutes.
At this point we are almost ready: remove the oysters, sprinkle them with the toasted and chopped peanuts, add the fried onions and enjoy when it is hot. As I said at the beginning: with an ice cold beer they are even better!

Nguyên liệu 2 kg hàu sữa tươi 100 gr mỡ phần (làm tốp mỡ – chicharon) 1 bó hành lá: rửa sạch, thái nhỏ 1 củ hành tây: hành tây thái nhỏ 2 quả ớt sừng: Ớt sừng bỏ hạt, thái nhỏ Gia vị: Dầu hào, mắm, đường, tương ớt, bột ngọt, hạt tiêu, ớt Dầu màu điều, dầu ăn Đậu phộng rang giã dập Hành khô phi vàng Cách làm
Hàu dùng bàn chải cọ chà, rửa nhiều lần cho sạch. Dùng dao nhọn tách đôi vỏ. Chọn phần vỏ trũng sâu để đựng ruột hàu. Lần lượt xếp lên vỉ nướng.
Làm tốp mỡ (chicharon): Mỡ phần thái hạt lựu rồi chiên vừa tầm hơi vàng, vớt ra cho ráo dầu. Cho vào chảo 5 thìa canh dầu và đun nóng, cho hành tây vào xào thơm. Trút phần tóp mỡ vào. Nêm nếm gia vị gồm 3 muỗng canh nước mắm, 1 muỗng canh nước, 1/2 muỗng canh dầu hào, 1 muỗng canh đường, 1/2 muỗng cà phê bột ngọt, 1 muỗng canh tương ớt, 1/2 muỗng cà phê hạt tiêu đảo đều, nêm nếm lại cho vừa miệng rồi nấu lửa nhỏ trong vòng 3-6 phút cho tới khi bạn thấy nước sốt hơi sệt là được, tắt bếp (đừng nấu đặc quá vì sau đó nướng hàu nó sẽ mặn). Khi hỗn hợp sốt hơi nguội mới cho hành lá cắt nhỏ, ớt cắt nhỏ và đảo đều là được hỗn hợp sốt mỡ hành. Múc sốt mỡ hành rưới đều và ngập lên trên từng con hàu. Nướng hàu bằng than hoặc lò nướng hoặc nồi chiên không dầu đều ngon. Đặt nhiệt độ khoảng 200-220 độ trong 6 – 7 phút là được. Lấy khay ra, rắc thêm đậu phộng đã rang và giã dập, hành phi và thưởng thức khi nóng.

La bella passeggiata a mare di Zoagli, bel borgo in Liguria. Una delle passeggiate a mare più belle del Golfo del Tigullio è sicuramente quella di Zoagli. Dalla spiaggia centrale si può passeggiare, a Levante o a Ponente per qualche centinaio di metri, a pochi metri dal mare. Qua e là si trova qualche piccola insenatura e spiaggetta di ciottoli dove si può fare il bagno. Uno dei percorsi (assieme alla passeggiata di Framura, che però non è nel Tigullio) da non perdere nel Levante Ligure.

A characteristic alley of Sestri Levante: vico Lombardo. The small historic center of Sestri, which goes more or less from the church of Santa Maria di Nazareth to Corso Colombo, is very pretty and apart from the famous caruggio it also offers many other views. This, for example, is the alley (vico) that connects the caruggio to the seafront promenade and the Baia delle Favole.

La Chiesa di San Lorenzo della Costa che domina il Tigullio Occidentale. Percorrendo la strada Aurelia nel tratto tra Rapallo e Recco si scavalla il Monte di Portofino e poco prima di arrivare nel punto più alto di passa nella piccola frazione di San Lorenzo la cui chiesa ed il campanile godono di una vista eccezionale.

L’Obelisco Vaticano che domina piazza San Pietro a Roma. La grande piazza di fronte alla Basilica di San Pietro è dominata da questo grande obelisco egiziano (senza iscrizioni). Pur avendolo visto diverse volte non vi avevo mai posto l’attenzione e fotografato.

L’Obelisco Vaticano è uno dei tredici obelischi antichi di Roma ed è situato in piazza San Pietro. Nell’occasione dello spostamento il globo collocato sulla vetta venne trasferito ai Musei Capitolini, nella prima sala del Palazzo dei Conservatori, in un angolo vicino alla grande finestra. Secondo la leggenda nel globo da cui era sormontato erano contenute le ceneri di San Pietro o di Cesare; dal riferimento cesareo all’aquila imperiale romana deriva il termine aguglia, inizialmente usato solo per gli obelischi, e oggi trasformato in guglia. La antica Torre degli Embriaci a Genova fotografata da molto lontano. Uno dei punti più belli per fotografare Genova è il Belvedere Montaldo che si trova nel quartiere di Castelletto. Da lì la vista spazia su quasi tutta la città e, grazie al tele, si possono fotografare particolari altrimenti poco visibili. E’ il caso della antica Torre degli Embriaci con la sua imponenza ed alle spalle la cima del campanile della chiesa di Santa Maria in Castello.

La Torre Embriaci, anche chiamata Torre degli Embriaci, situata nella zona più antica di Genova, quella dove sorgeva il “castrum”, si lega al nome di quel Guglielmo Embriaco che «crociato tornò vincitore da Cesarea». È l’unica delle numerosi torri che si trovavano nell’attuale centro storico di Genova ad essere stata risparmiata dall’editto del 1196 che volle il taglio ad 80 palmi di tutte le torri cittadine.
