Il piccolo borgo di Mattarana in provincia della Spezia.
Costruito attorno alla via Aurelia, nel lungo tratto che collega La Spezia con Genova, il piccolo borgo di Mattarana racchiude poche case, un bel caruggio interno e la chiesa di San Giovanni Battista.
