The vegetable gardens towards via dei Cachi in Sestri Levante.
When I was a kid this part of Sestri was called the Mulinetti area (who knows why?!) and it was a huge clearing, in beaten earth, which was used for various needs: parking, the circus, concerts…
At the end of this clearing there were, and still are, these vegetable gardens that flank the road that is called via dei cachi.
It's just a shame that when I took this photo the sun was shining against it.
