Il fiore arancione della Gazania

The orange flower of the Gazania.
My wife really likes to visit greenhouses and flower nurseries so every now and then we visit one that is close to us.
I, with my camera, always try to photograph the most beautiful flowers.
In this case perhaps these gazanias were not in their best shape but they still seemed like a beautiful flower to me.

On top of the school building in Piazza della Repubblica there is this beautiful statue representing Victory.
I liked this view with the statue peeking out between the houses.
I took the photo from under the arcades of Via Fascie, where the bank is, so to speak.

My home-cooked meat tartare

La mia tartare di carne gustata in casa

My home-made meat tartare.
One of my favorite meat dishes is definitely tartare. I personally prefer tartare to battuta because I like thinly sliced meat.
I found Piedmontese meat at a very good price in a supermarket near my home and I often take it home.
I prepare it half an hour before and season it the way I like it: lemon, oil, salt, pepper, onion (finely sliced), olives (finely sliced) and mustard (I don't add capers, which I don't like, or eggs). I stir it often and it's really delicious.

A small street, just behind the sea front, but truly characteristic and called (once) the “caruggiu de l’ou” because there were deposits of some metals, mainly sulphides in the form of pyrite and chalcopyrite, extracted in the nearby hinterland.
