The pavement has recently (a few years) been renewed and restructured and now hosts both a short cycle path (not very functional) and these little trees.

The Costa Fascinosa in port in Tenerife, Spain. When I go for a tour of the cities I visit with the ship (this was the Costa Fascinosa, now more than a year ago) I like to photograph the iconic yellow chimney from a little far away. This is the Charca, a swimming pool and fountain, right in front of the port of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.

Costa Fascinosa is a cruise ship of the Genoa-based Costa Crociere company. It was ordered in October 2007 and built at the Fincantieri shipyard in Marghera. It entered service on 5 May 2012. The names Costa Fascinosa and Costa Favolosa were selected through a competition. The choice of names was guided by approximately 40,000 travel agents in over 40 countries, who submitted more than 16,000 possible pairs of names for the two ships. In the end, twenty-five pairs of names were published on the World of Costa website, where visitors were invited to choose their favorite pairing, and after more than 42,000 preferences expressed, in the end the names “Favolosa” and “Fascinosa” were the winners. Il bel palazzo in piazzetta Ruggero ad Assisi. Una delle foto iconiche di Assisi, tolta quella della Basilica di San Francesco, è sicuramente di questo palazzo che sorge all’incontro di due strade: Piaggia di Porta San Pietro e via Fontebella. Sede di questa bella edicola votiva con una Madonna con Bambino della quale però non riesco a trovare molte informazioni.

A detail of the Palazzo dei Portici Neri in Chiavari One of the buildings that fascinates me most in Chiavari is located in via Ravaschieri, where it meets piazza Fenice, and is called the Palazzo dei Portici Neri. In addition to being very imposing and ancient, on the facade you can see the different architectural styles that have overlapped over time. I don't know much about the coat of arms that seems to appear and if anyone wants to delve deeper...
Update: it is the remaining part of the coat of arms of the Torre family who lived in that palace for some time.

The Palazzo dei Portici Neri is one of the oldest buildings in the entire city of Chiavari. It is located in the central Piazza Fenice, near the Chiavari Castle and the ancient medieval walls.
