An unusual, for me, spider nest in the garden
It's a rather unusual photo but I couldn't help but take a picture.
It's a nest of spiders (it took the camera zooming in to be sure) that are all together as if to shelter from the rain. What strange insects.

At the top of all the results is something that has absolutely nothing to do with it: the book "Il sentiero dei nidi di ragno"Italo Calvino's first novel; who knows if he too was inspired by seeing something similar... Verme nella foglia

Verme nella foglia.
Questa immagine, di una foglia di cappero, sembrerebbe mostrare un qualcosa di non molto interessante.
Invece quelle strisce grigie altro non sono che le gallerie scavate da un parassita che usa la foglia come riparo dai predatori mangiando indisturbato al suo interno.
