Colorful pashminas in Malaysia.
Between Thailand, Malaysia and Cambodia you can see pashminas for sale everywhere.
Of all types and colors. Also of all prices.
These were in a small shop in Malaysia and I bought a couple. They seemed to be made of a good fabric and were in a solid color. Others are worked with floral designs but I prefer these.
Hoping that in the end they are made of real wool (or at most cotton) and not just 100% acrylic.

The word Pashmina derives from Pashmineh, from the Persian pashm, which means “wool” and indicates a textile product made from cashmere wool, a very precious textile fibre made from the hair of the Capra hircus (Chyangra in Nepalese, elsewhere changthangi) which lives in the Himalayan mountain range between Nepal, Pakistan and northern India.
