Trenette al pesto genovese con patate.
Ci sono tante foto del pesto sul mio blog perché è uno dei miei piatti preferiti ed è proprio tipico della mia regione.
Al pesto, per essere ancora più buono, aggiungiamo anche qualche pezzettino di patate bollite (ci sarebbero da aggiungere anche i fagiolini ma a me non piacciono molto).

Passeggiando tra le strade della città toscana di Lucca ci si imbatte, quasi ad ogni angolo, in qualcosa di bello.
Come questa architrave scolpita che è nella facciata della antica chiesa (si parla di anno Mille) dedicata a San Salvatore.

Biduino è stato uno scultore italiano, esponente del romanico pisano, attivo nel periodo 1173-1194. Attento allo studio della scultura romana e tardo-antica, soprattutto dei sarcofagi, ripropose affollate composizioni in continuità narrativa, allungando i corpi delle figure secondo una visione ancora bizantina o denunciando analogie con opere provenzali.

Arriving in the seaside village of Boccadasse in Genoa.
To get down to the famous little beach of the seaside village of Boccadasse, to the east of Genoa, there are several streets and creuze.
This is the road for vehicles but it is no less beautiful than one of the pedestrian-only creuze.
Here in fact there is this beautiful straight street with all the colorful houses on display.

Boccadasse (Boca d’azë or Bocadâze in Genoese) is an ancient seaside village in the city of Genoa, which is part of the Albaro district. In the current administrative division of the municipality of Genoa it is therefore included in the Municipio VIII – Medio Levante, which in addition to Albaro also includes the Foce and San Martino districts.

Non c’è luogo migliore per vedere (e fotografare) la splendida città di Firenze che il piazzale Michelangelo.
Da qui si vede quasi tutto: Il duomo di Santa Maria del Fiore, Palazzo Vecchio, la Basilica di Santa Croce di Firenze e Ponte Vecchio.

Piazzale Michelangelo a Firenze rappresenta il più famoso punto di osservazione del panorama cittadino, riprodotto in innumerevoli cartoline e meta obbligata dei turisti in visita alla città.
Fu realizzato dal 1869 su disegno dell’architetto Giuseppe Poggi su una collina appena a sud del centro storico, a completamento dei lavori di riqualificazione della riva sinistra dell’Arno.

Il misterioso volto megalitico di Borzone in Liguria.
Da moltissimo tempo mi riproponevo di andare a vedere questo monumento preistorico che non è molto distante da dove abito io (Sestri Levante).
Con un amico, qualche mese fa ormai, abbiamo colto la palla al balzo ed in un sabato pomeriggio soleggiato di novembre siamo andati a vedere la splendida Abbazia di Borzone e da lì, percorrendo il breve sentiero (circa 6 chilometri tra andata e ritorno) indicato, si raggiunge il bel monolito.
Ho scattato diverse foto ma ve lo dico: le immagini non rendono come dal vivo.

Margherita pizza from the Dal Presidente pizzeria in Naples.
The pizza eaten in Naples, almost everywhere, is a masterpiece!
This was definitely the best I tasted in my last weekend in Naples. The margherita pizza (which then with the suggestion of the very nice waitress, became with buffalo mozzarella) of the Dal Presidente pizzeria in via dei Tribunali.
In addition to the pizza, and only for that you have to go there, the warmth of the place and the many testimonies of famous people who have eaten pizza there (the most famous is certainly Bill Clinton former American President).
I have not found an official website, I leave you the review of Tripadvisor and the page Facebook.

The beautiful and elegant Villa Garibalda in the center of Rapallo.
When you walk along the alley of Rapallo you arrive in this beautiful square, Piazza Giovanni da Vico, which is bordered towards the sea by this beautiful white-gray building that is found in several buildings in Liguria.
In reality this is the back of Villa or Casa Garibalda.

Until the 1990s and 2000s it was in a state of semi-abandonment, but thanks to the restoration of its particular façade and interiors, it has returned to its former splendor with the opening, among other things, of a bar and restaurant on the lower floors.

Le Alpi Apuane viste dal Monte Groppi.
Come vi ho già scritto qualche tempo fa dalla cima del Monte Groppi, una delle montagne che sovrastano il Passo del Bracco (la strata che dalla mia Sestri Levante porta fino a La Spezia), si può godere di una vista quasi a 360 gradi.
Volgendo lo sguardo ad Est si vedono ì, molto bene, le Alpi Apuane.
Le avrete riconosciute tutti, vero?

L’aggettivo “apuane” è legato alla popolazione dei Liguri Apuani, i quali popolavano una parte dell’Appennino ligure e tosco-emiliano e le Alpi Apuane nell’epoca dell’Italia preromana. Strabone li chiamava Lunae montes, cioè “monti della luna”, Dante Alighieri Monti di Luni, antica città romana in provincia di La Spezia.
