Una statua di San Giorgio ed il drago a Barcellona. Sul retro del palazzo della la Generalitat de Catalunya c’è questa bella decorazione gotica che immortala San Giorgio a cavallo che sconfigge il drago. A dire la verità la statua è un poco rimaneggiata (manca la lancia ed il drago è quasi irriconoscibile) ma ha sempre un aspetto fiero. Mi piace moltissimo fotografare monumenti dedicati a questo Santo, così amato anche in Liguria.

Salmone marinato a bordo della nave. A bordo delle navi da crociera il cibo non manca mai. La qualità e l’estetica dei piatti, specialmente nell’ultimo decennio, è cambiata molto cercando di far capire che non conta solamente la quantità. Lo scorso anno, per la crociera di Natale e Capodanno mia moglie era a bordo con me (sulla ex Costa Firenze) e siamo andati spesso al ristorante per la cena. Questo era uno dei piatti del menù di Natale (se non ricordo male il giorno): Salmone marinato nella barbabietola con vodka e lime. Ed era veramente buonissimo!

Il simbolo della mia cittadina, una delle baie più famose della mia regione, dove le case dei pescatori (una volta) si costruirono a pochi passi dal mare. I colori pastello, le acque trasparenti ed una calma (non in estate) che hanno dato il nome a questa insenatura: la Baia del Silenzio appunto! La foto è stata scattata a fine maggio 2023.
