Dream beaches: Dickenson’s Bay in Antigua. One of the most beautiful beaches on the island of Antigua and probably one of my favorites in the Caribbean. Obviously there are more beautiful but considering the fact that I am not there on vacation and that I always have rather tight weather I would say that it is one of the best for me.

The entrance portal of Palazzo Domenico Grillo in the historic center of Genoa. As always, wandering through the alleys of the historic center of Zena, I always find something new to photograph and then post. This is the entrance to the palace commissioned by Domenico Grillo, in Vico alla Chiesa delle Vigne, now a hotel.

The Domenico Grillo palace is a building located in Piazza delle Vigne at number 4 in the historic center of Genoa. The building was included in the list of palaces registered in the Rolli of Genoa. In the square of the same name is the basilica of Santa Maria delle Vigne. Built and decorated on behalf of the Marquis Domenico Grillo in 1545, above the loggia of the Grillo, Negrone and Vivaldi "hotels", the palace was expanded and given a new façade, rich in marble decorations and frescoes, by Giovan Battista Castello known as Bergamasco in collaboration with Bernardo Spazio in 1560. An excellent Angus fillet enjoyed on board the ex Costa Firenze. When I manage to eat at the steakhouse on board one of our ships I always order the fillet because it is the cut of meat that I love the most. Don't these photos make your mouth water?

A glimpse of Montefalco, the medieval village in the province of Perugia, Umbria. Walking through the small village of Montefalco you will be amazed by the views that you can admire. Being on the top of a hill all the streets, let's say the alleys, climb up to flow into the central town square.

Montefalco is an Italian municipality in the province of Perugia in Umbria. It is the reference point of the wine region where Sagrantino di Montefalco and Montefalco Rosso are produced. The toponym Montefalco is due, according to tradition, to Frederick II of Swabia. The emperor, visiting the places in the 13th century, having noted the large number of falcons, decided to change the name of the place from Coccorone (Cors Coronae) to the current one. The buildings that housed the offices of Fit in Sestri I'll tell you right away: the title may not be correct since these buildings have been used in different ways over the years. From what I believe they were part of the offices of the former Fit-Ferrotubi, the huge factory from the beginning of the last century. Later transformed into the headquarters of some municipal offices and planned to become the new headquarters of the Sestre Carabiniri. For those who don't know this place, we are at the point where Viale Dante joins Via Nazionale.

Una delle gallerie del Parco Guell a Barcellona. Era moltissimo tempo che volevo visitare questa famosa attrazione di Barcellona e finalmente, lo scorso anno, sono riuscito ad andarvi. Quello che impressiona, sono le forme che l’architetto Antoni Gaudì ha ideato e applicato in questo visionario progetto architettonico. Come in questa galleria dalle forme arrotondate che ricordano tanto un’onda del mare.

Departure from Geiranger from the Costa Firenze. Surely one of the most unforgettable stretches of sea in the world is when the ship leaves from the small town of Geiranger and, traveling along the famous Geirangerfiord, passes between the two famous waterfalls (the Seven Sisters and the Pretender). In this photo, taken from the stern of the former Costa Firenze, all the colors of Northern Europe.

The Geirangerfjord (Geirangerfjorden) is a fjord in the Norwegian region of Sunnmøre in the south of the county of Møre og Romsdal. It is a branch of the much larger Storfjorden and within it is the famous village of Geiranger. The fjord is one of the most visited natural sites in Norway and since 2005 it is included, together with the Nærøyfjord, in the List of World Heritage Sites drawn up by UNESCO.
