In summer, one of the most beautiful beaches in my town is definitely Renà, the last stretch of sea to the east before the tunnels that lead to Moneglia.
The beach is made of stones, on some days thanks to the tide and the wave motion, the stones are replaced by coarse-grained sand or by millimetre-sized pebbles.
You just have to get used to it and walk with flip-flops to the sea to avoid burning your feet!
