La spiaggia di Sori, il borgo in provincia di Genova.
Ultimamente, diverse volte a settimana, mi reco a Genova e visto che siamo in estate amo fare tutta la via Aurelia in motorino per godermi la mia Liguria.
Quando posso mi fermo a scattare qualche foto dei vari borghi che si attraversano.
Questa è la bella Sori vista dal grande ponte che la sovrasta.
La spiaggia e la piscina si vedono molto bene.

Il borgo di Sori si affaccia sul mare del Golfo Paradiso, a est di Genova, nella Riviera di Levante, e il territorio comunale si protende nell’entroterra lungo la valle dell’omonimo torrente fino a raggiungere lo spartiacque con l’alta val Fontanabuona raggiungendo la frazione di Pannesi nel comune di Lumarzo.

Due meravigliosi pesci cotti al forno.
Qualche tempo fa, sono stato invitato a mangiare da un grande amico (ed eccellente organizzatore di mangiate).
Il piatto del giorno: due magnifici pesci cotti al forno su un tappeto di pomodorini, olive e patate.
I pesci, se non ricordo male, erano due dentici!
Piatto e mangiata perfettamente riusciti!

A few weeks ago I brought the old wide-angle lens to the Bay of Silence to test it together with the new camera.
You can see the result with your own eyes also because in May the water is very clean and emerald in color.

Dream beaches: Coconut Bay in Tobago.
A few months ago, when I was in the Caribbean with the ship, I visited a beautiful beach on the beautiful island of Tobago (in Trinidad and Tobago).
Actually, our goal was the more famous Store Bay Beach but that day the sea was a little rough and there wasn't much beach. So we walked a few hundred meters and took advantage (paying a lot) of the private beach of the Coco Reef resort and spent half a day in this paradise.

Salendo verso il faro non si può non ammirare e scattare una foto al fronte mare del borgo di Portofino.
Borgo famoso in tutto il mondo per i vips ed il lusso ma, fondamentalmente, un piccolo e bello borgo marinaro ligure come ve ne sono molti altrettanto belli (ma meno famosi) che cerco di valorizzare su questo sito.

Dal tempo del grande afflusso di ospiti stranieri – dapprima britannici e quindi tedeschi – nei primi anni del Novecento l’economia di Portofino è strettamente legata al turismo. La locale “Piazzetta” sulla quale si affacciano i locali pubblici di ristoro, negozi, boutique e altre attività commerciali è stata nel luglio del 2012 riconosciuta come Locale storico d’Italia, primo e unico attestato rilasciato dall’omonima associazione, per il suo valore storico e culturale.

Il vivaio nel quale sono stato è: Vivai Gaggero a Carasco.

Allegra pianta messicana trattata generalmente come annuale, riseminandola ogni anno in aiuola o in vaso, dal momento che non resiste in inverno al gelo e che lo sviluppo da seme è facile e veloce. Forma steli sottili e flessuosi che portano corolle a margherita, leggere e coloratissime in mille sfumature dal bianco al violetto. Cosmos sulphureus è una specie meno diffusa, con fiori color giallo-arancio.

Un fronte nuvoloso sul mare di Liguria qualche giorno fa.
Qualche giorno fa, un grosso fronte nuvoloso si stava avvicinando alla mia Sestri Levante mentre ero in spiaggia a Sant’Anna.
Il fronte era addirittura concentrato su Savona ma la nuvola arrivava a lambire Sestri.
Per fortuna non è poi arrivato e piano piano si è dissolto.

The village and the small port of Camogli seen from Ruta.
In the last few weeks I have gone back and forth between Sestri Levante and Genoa several times; on many occasions, being in the summer season, I went by scooter and was able to enjoy all the beauty of our Riviera di Levante.
When the Aurelia then passes by Ruta (of Camogli) the view of the beautiful seaside village is unparalleled, don't you think so too?

The most significant architectural aspect of the town is the presence of colored buildings overlooking the beach. The colors and the lighter horizontal lines (called string courses) served the sailors of Camogli to more easily recognize their home among the various floors of the buildings in the village and return there after fishing.

Una foto panoramica della famosa Fontana di Trevi a Roma.
Qualche mese fa sono stato a fare una commissione veloce nella capitale. Dovevo fare tutto in giornata ma sono comunque riuscito a regalarmi un giro da turista per il centro e a scattare moltissime foto in città.
Questa, come avrete già capito tutti, è la celeberrima fontana di Trevi voluta da Clemente XII e iniziata a costruire da Nicola Salvi e finita nel 1762 da Pietro e Verginio Bracci.

The Trevi Fountain is the largest and most famous fountain in Rome. Built on the facade of Palazzo Poli by Nicola Salvi, the competition announced by Pope Clement XII in 1731 was initially won by the French sculptor Lambert-Sigisbert Adam but the assignment was subsequently passed to Salvi.

Un ottimo hamburger così come me lo faccio io a casa.
Quando sono a casa, spesso mi preparo un super-hamburger… compro un bel macinato, un paio di fettine di bacon, un paio di sottilette (meglio se quelle al cheddar), cipolla tagliata fine e per finire abbondante ketchup e senape!
Questo è proprio quello che ho mangiato io per cui la foto non è molto professionale, lo so…
