Una bella veduta del centro della Spezia da uno dei punti più panoramici che si possono trovare se pensiamo che siamo praticamente in centro. E’ infatti il punto di arrivo della funicolare (quasi un ascensore) che in due minuti ti porta dal caruggio al Castello di San Giorgio.

It is the first municipality you come across when travelling from Genoa towards the Riviera di Levante, in a small inlet at the mouth of the river of the same name. Among the reliefs of the territory there is Mount Cordona (803 m) along the ancient path to the hamlet of Sessarego and Mount Rotondo (789 m). The beaches alternate with deep and characteristic cliffs. It is possible to practice surfing there. Dream Beaches: Monterosso al Mare in Liguria Have you ever been to the sea in Cinque Terre? Well the only real beach is the one (or rather those) of Monterosso al Mare the first of the five. The peculiarity is that the sand alternates with these light and rounded pebbles (but not too much). Truly a spectacle!

Gli spaghetti alle vongole e bottarga. A detta della mia ragazza quasi, fino ad ora, sono i migliori spaghetti alle vongole che lei abbia mangiato in Italia. La splendida Baia del Silenzio di Sestri Levante ad ottobre. La fortuna di abitare in una cittadina di mare è che se il tempo è clemente, è quasi sempre lo è, ad ottobre ci si può godere il mare eccome! Come in questo scatto di una mattina di inizio ottobre: il mare è limpidissimo (sì l’acqua è un poco più frizzante) e al sole si sta proprio bene!

A walk among the colored houses of Burano. A few months ago I finally went to visit the islands of the Venetian lagoon and I must say that, even though I had already seen the colored houses of Burano in photos and videos, the reality even exceeds expectations! Burano is a town of 2,270 inhabitants that stands on four islands in the northern Venetian lagoon. It is part of the municipality of Venice and in particular of the municipality of Venice-Murano-Burano. It is connected by a bridge to the island of Mazzorbo, which has become a sort of appendix.
