The abandoned factory in the hamlet of Ponterotto in Sestri.
A few hundred meters upstream from Santa Vittoria di Libiola there is this small group of houses, on the other side of Gromolo. The access road to these houses is a stone and brick bridge. I tried to figure out the name of the place, if it has one, and I think it is called Ponterotto.

A little further on there is one of the monuments to the golden age of the Gromolo valley, when the extraction of minerals, mainly copper, had led Libiola (this is the name of the hamlet where we find ourselves) to extract and transform minerals.
Now abandoned, along the road, there is also the abandoned factory symbol of that period:
I remember some news some time ago about the idea of doing something with this unsafe building but now I can find no trace of it.
