The cycle path of via XX Settembre in Sestri Levante.
The road that goes from the roundabout of Piazza Sant’Antonio to the seafront promenade is called via XX Settembre.
On the side that runs alongside the gardens dedicated to Mariele Ventre there is this sidewalk which is at the same time a cycle path almost completely immersed in greenery.

I giardini della passeggiata a Ponente di Riva Trigoso.
La “nuova” passeggiata a mare di Riva che tutte le volte che faccio il sentiero di Punta Manara fotografo.
L’edificio della Biblioteca pubblica e le aiuole con i giochi per i bambini.
Mi piace questo angolo del borgo marinaro a Levante del mio comune.

Aurelia, pista ciclabile e passeggiata a Sestri Levante

Aurelia, cycle path and promenade in Sestri Levante.
A few years ago this part of my Sestri Levante was decidedly different.
Now it is an integral part of the promenade that previously, practically, ended with the viewpoint at the beginning of Lungomare Descalzo.
In addition to what you see below, there is also a nice parking lot (not much loved though).

La statua del cerbiatto nei giardini

La statua del cerbiatto nei giardini di Sestri Levante.
Nelle tante aiuole e giardinetti che stanno tra la pista ciclabile e la passeggiata Sestrese c’è anche questa statua.
Io me la ricordo fin da quando ero un bambino; ed è sempre li!
Un cerbiatto, o forse viste le dimensioni un cervo che bruca un po’ d’erba all’ombra dei pini marittimi.
Tra le varie aiuole ci sono poi diverse statue, busti e cippi: bisogna solo camminare piano e goderseli.
Questa è all’altezza della rotonda che da Lungomare Giovanni Descalzo porta verso piazza della Vela.
