Dried fruit at the Boqueria market in Barcelona, ​​Spain.
The beautiful stalls of the most famous covered market in Barcelona are always very beautiful to see and to photograph.
This was one of the several stalls that sell (but the photo is not exactly recent) dried fruit and you can recognize some of them: banana, apricot, strawberry, kiwi and other fruit that I don't recognize.

La Boqueria is the most famous market in Spain and one of the largest in Catalonia with its 2,583 square meters and more than 300 stalls. It is also one of the oldest markets in Spain: born at the beginning of the 17th century at the gates of the city in the plain of Pla de la Boqueria (which today is a small square in front of the current market) to avoid paying taxes on goods, it was inaugurated later, in 1836, where it is still located halfway along the popular Rambla, between the Palau de la Virreina and the Liceu Theater.

Albicocche dal mio giardino.
Anche se dall’albero del mio giardino non ce ne sono più (ce le siamo mangiate tutte e purtroppo quest’anno non ce n’erano moltissime) vi posto una foto che ho fatto qualche giorno fa.
Un bel cestino di albicocche: le migliori del mondo! Grosse, carnose e dolcissime.
Non è certamente l’unica foto che è presente sul sito con questo soggetto ma non posso evitare di scattare a questo frutto così delizioso.

Ho trovato questo sito molto interessante (my-personaltrainer.it) che vi dice un sacco di informazioni nutrizionali riguardo questo frutto (e navigandolo) e su molti altri alimenti.

Non è la prima foto dei fiori di albicocco che pubblico sul sito ma questi fiori bianchi sono davvero una meraviglia secondo me.

Albero da frutto, noto anche come armellino nei dialetti veneti in seguito agli scambi con l’Oriente, fu creduto da Linneo originario dell’Armenia – da qui deriva l’epiteto specifico “armeniaca” – ma la pianta era originaria della Cina. Venne importato in Europa dal romano Lucullo.
