The former Convent of the Annunziata in Sestri Levante from an unusual perspective.
When you arrive at the point where I took this photo, normally, your gaze and your lens point to the Bay of Silence.
This time, however, I looked for a new perspective in the imposing Convent, built by the Dominican friars, which dominates the Bay.

The original convent was built in 1469 by the Dominican fathers, who had already established their base in the Genoese complex of Santa Maria di Castello since 1442. The structure is located on the extreme tip of the Sestri Levante peninsula, overlooking the sea on three sides: two towards the Baia del Silenzio and one towards the open sea of the Gulf of Tigullio.
