A succulent cut blood orange

Arancia rossa tagliata

A succulent cut blood orange.
It is one of the most common fruits in the world, by now, but in Italy there are still some excellent ones.
Thanks to the forced stay-at-home period a few months ago, I indulged in macro photography.
In these photos, especially in the second one, you can clearly see this orange that I cut (to make a fresh juice).
The thing that I like most in the photo, of this beautiful cut blood orange and that I want to share with you, are the small orange cells right in the outermost part of the peel that I believe contain the scented essential oils of this splendid fruit.
